Imam Siddique Wants On-Air Correction From Salman Khan

Former Bigg Boss 6 contestant Imam Siddique has asked Salman Khan and the Bigg Boss 20 team for an on-air correction after his name came up on the latest Weekend Ka Vaar.

The episode aired on Saturday, 3 October 2026. Salman mentioned Imam while questioning current contestant Qazi Touqeer about his behaviour. After the broadcast, Imam posted an open letter to Salman and called the reference “extremely defamatory and factually incorrect.”

Why Imam objected

Imam said the show presented his past behaviour in a way he rejects. He wrote that the idea that he had done the same thing was false, and that his Bigg Boss 6 journey was built on entertainment, tasks and performance. He also said he completed the season with dignity.

Imam argued that a host’s comment during Weekend Ka Vaar carries weight. He said the mention could create a negative impression before a large audience without giving him a chance to respond in the moment.

What he is asking for

In his letter, Imam made three requests:

  • A clarification and correction on the show itself.
  • An assurance that his name will not be used in a defamatory context in future.
  • A response from Salman with the fairness he shows inside the house.

Imam kept the tone respectful. He wrote that he has always respected Salman as an elder brother of the industry, and that he hopes the matter will be addressed with the same fairness Salman shows inside the house.

Why this matters for Bigg Boss fans

The timing makes the objection notable. Imam’s season aired in 2012, so a current Bigg Boss 20 conversation has put his old journey back into the spotlight. When past contestants are used as examples on the show, those mentions rarely get a direct rebuttal; this time, the named contestant has responded publicly.

Imam also underlined a broader concern: one on-air reference can follow a public figure for years. For reality TV contestants, clips and callbacks circulate quickly, so having the correction happen on the same platform matters more than a clarification on social media alone.

What happens next

The open letter now leaves the next move with Salman and the makers. For viewers, the key watch point is whether the upcoming Weekend Ka Vaar acknowledges Imam’s request, or whether the demand stays confined to his own feed.
