Aaliyah Kashyap recently took to one of her YouTube vlogs to answer some of the questions her followers were curious about including how she earns from being a social media influencer
Bollywood filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s daughter Aaliyah Kashyap is currently one of the most sought-after star kids. While she has been away from the limelight, being a social media influencer often keeps her in the headlines. Fans are always eager to know more about her personal life and they adore her for sharing her life experiences through her social media posts and YouTube vlogs. In a recent video, she opened up about her earnings as a social media influencer.
The 22-year-old in her video addressed the questions she received from her fans about how she earns through social media and if that is her only source of income. She shared that a huge part of her income comes from the brand deals that she does every month. She explained that it is different all the time since one month she could be doing 2 brand deals and the other she would do six. Quoted by Indian Express, she added, “I don’t really have a set amount of money that I earn every month. It’s very variable.”
Kashyap went on to add that she also gets paid by YouTube, however, it doesn’t pay as well in India as it would in the US. She said, “YouTube also pays me money, but to be honest, in countries like India and other third-world countries, YouTube doesn’t really pay a lot compared to how much someone in the US would be earning. So YouTube does pay me money every month based on how many views I got that month. The money I get from YouTube is nowhere enough to sustain my life.”
Aaliyah is Anurag’s sole child from his union with his first ex-wife, Aarti Bajaj, for those who are unaware. After getting married in 2003, they divorced in 2009. The influencer recently made news for tying the knot in May 2023 with her longtime partner Shane Gregoire. The who’s who of Bollywood attended a lavish engagement party that the pair even arranged for their professional acquaintances.
