Bigg Boss 17’s Anurag Dobhal Among Four Arrested in Dehradun

Bigg Boss 17 contestant and YouTuber Anurag Dobhal, better known to fans as UK07 Rider, was among four men arrested in Dehradun after a late-night fight escalated. Police confirmed the action, bringing the social media personality back into the headlines.

The update is significant for Indian television fans because Dobhal’s Bigg Boss stint made his personal life a regular talking point. Now the story has moved from on-screen drama to a law-and-order matter.

What police say happened

According to a Hindustan Times report cited by Filmibeat, the incident began around 10 pm near Haridwar Bypass Road, close to a Nexa showroom in Dehradun. Police received information about a fight involving a group of young men. Nehru Colony police station sent a team to the spot, and those involved were taken to a nearby outpost to keep things from escalating further.

Dehradun SSP Pramendra Dobhal reportedly said officers found Anurag Dobhal and his associates allegedly assaulting Raj Singh Chauhan. Police describe Chauhan as a cousin of Anurag’s wife. However, even after the group was moved, police claim the tension did not settle.

Who was arrested

Police named four men in the case:

• Anurag Dobhal — YouTuber and Bigg Boss 17 contestant, known as UK07 Rider.
• Abhishek, Abhay Chaudhary and Kurbaan — the other three men taken into custody.

The four were arrested under Section 170 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS). Police said the step was needed to maintain law and order after the men allegedly became aggressive during discussions at the outpost and a crowd gathered.

Why TV fans are tracking this

Anurag Dobhal’s route to wide fame ran through YouTube first, where the UK07 Rider channel gave him a large digital audience. Bigg Boss 17 then put him in front of television viewers, with his relationships and personal conflicts becoming part of the show’s conversation. That is why a Dehradun police action involving him is being followed as entertainment news as much as a local crime report.

The exact trigger of the fight has not been independently established in the information available. Police have detailed the intervention and the arrests, but the backstory is still developing.

What comes next

For now, the four men are in police custody as officials work to keep the situation calm. Fans will be watching for any clarification from Anurag’s side, and for the next official update from the police. Until then, the facts point to a serious night for the Bigg Boss 17 alum, and a reminder that digital fame does not insulate anyone from real-world consequences.
