Bigg Boss 20: Aman Gandhi Calls Out Hypocrisy on Mahhi Vij Chat
Aman Gandhi refuses to back down after Salman Khan's Weekend Ka Vaar grilling about a late-night chat on Mahhi Vij's self-nomination.

Weekend Ka Vaar turned into a stand-off over context when Salman Khan pressed Aman Gandhi about a late-night conversation around Mahhi Vij in the Bigg Boss 20 house. Aman did not deny the talk. He pushed back on the idea that the full discussion was being shown.
Salman’s question, Aman’s answer
The host wanted to know whether the group had waited for Mahhi to sleep before discussing her behaviour. Aman’s response changed the direction of the exchange. He said the housemates had discussed negative observations about Mahhi, but that was not the whole conversation.
Speaking to Salman, Aman explained that he had also told the group to look at her stronger qualities, and to consider speaking with her directly rather than continuing the conversation among themselves. “Observations jo thi haa negative thi,” he said, before adding that he had asked the others to notice her “achi sides” too.
What Aman says the house missed
When Salman said he had not heard that part and asked whether anyone else had, Aman pointed to Qazi Tauqeer. He said he had told Qazi Bhai the same thing. The moment mattered because it moved the argument from whether the chat happened to whether the house was telling the whole story about it.
- Aman admitted the discussion took place, but argued it was being framed selectively.
- He says the group also considered Mahhi’s positive side, not just the criticism.
- He named Qazi Tauqeer as someone who heard the same version he gave Salman.
The self-nomination thread
Aasif Khan suggested Aman appeared to be stepping back when the conversation was questioned. Salman then asked him to explain the basic point behind his original doubt.
Aman traced it to what he had always heard Mahhi say about self-nomination. He said Mahhi had strongly questioned how anyone could give their own life or nominate themselves. So when she later took that step, he said, it looked like it carried another motive — and that is where the discussion began.
In that exchange, Aman was not arguing that the chat never happened. He was arguing that the house was reading only the part that suited a particular narrative.
Why this lands with Bigg Boss fans
For regular viewers, this is the classic Weekend Ka Vaar test: a contestant has to defend a personal observation in front of the host, the housemates and the camera. Reality television runs on exactly this tension — what is said and what is shown are rarely identical. Aman’s defence leaned on the idea that the group’s talk had a second half, one that included speaking to Mahhi rather than only about her.
Whether the house accepts that framing is now the question viewers will track all week.
