Bigg Boss 20: Uditi Singh Breaks Down as Gullu Targets Her Past

Bigg Boss 20’s latest episode turned a routine kitchen-duty discussion into an emotional low for captain Uditi Singh. What began as a question about missing sabzi ended with Uditi in tears in the washroom after contestant Gullu, also known as Kushal Tanwar, dragged her past relationship into the fight.

From dinner duty to a personal dig

The house had just finished the BB News task conducted by Aasif Khan when the argument started. After dinner, Gullu asked Uditi why there was no sabzi in the meal. Uditi explained that nobody was assigned to chopping, so only rice and dal were cooked.

That exchange quickly escalated. Uditi called Gullu ‘chor’ and said he had been taking ration and food as per his convenience, so he might as well cook for himself. Mahhi Vij overheard the remark and passed it on to Gullu.

When Uditi returned to sort out kitchen duties, Gullu kept pressing her about the ‘chor’ comment. He then made it personal, saying everyone carries a tag: some carry an ex’s tag, some a thief’s tag. The reference to Uditi’s past relationship with actor Karan Wahi was unmistakable.

Uditi’s reaction and the tears

Uditi objected immediately, asking why he was going personal. She said he would not look smart by talking about her ex and asked why he had brought up her ex. She then left the argument, rushed to the washroom and broke down, stepping inside to avoid the cameras.

Her friends Aman Gandhi and Arishfa tried to console her. Aasif Khan later made Gullu realise that the personal remark was out of line, and Gullu approached Uditi to apologise.

The backstory that made it hurt

This was not the first time Uditi spoke about her breakup on the show. In earlier episodes, she told Scoup OP that the breakup was ‘a blessing in disguise’. She said it changed both her career and personal life.

Explaining the split, Uditi said trouble began after the couple adopted their pet Noah during lockdown. Looking after Noah often led to arguments, and their different habits around cleanliness added to the disagreements.
