Puncch Beat is back with the second season. Season one is a rage amongst the youth and many had been waiting for season 2 with bated breath.
The hit youth boxing drama Puncch Beat was released in 2019. The ALTBalaji show centers on college and teen drama. To spice things up the season 2 also has a murder mystery.
We recently spoke to one of the leads from the show – Siddharth Sharma. Siddharth made his debut in the TV circuit with the dating reality show Splitsvilla. His acting debut was via Puncch Beat. During our interaction with him, Siddharth revealed to what lengths he had to go to get that fab body of his that we saw in season 1.
Not many are aware but Siddharth actually took the help of a professional trainer for his body transformation. Samee Ahmed had trained the late Sushant Singh Rajput for his role in Dhoni. Siddharth shared how he was blown away by the results and thus got in touch with Samee.

Siddharth while talking about his training said, “I remember I was very athletic and thin when I signed Puncch Beat back in March 2018, and I had to look like Priyank, who was a national sensation at that time. So Samee and I started training in March 2018, and in no time, I had six-pack abs. But I had different plans in mind. I was looking forward to matching his height, body weight, etc. To achieve that, I had to fluctuate and plan including the diet plus gym routine that I still get goosebumps when I talk about it.”
He also mentioned that he used to wake up at 6 am and work out for 6-8 hours straight.Â
