Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao have shocked everyone after they announced their divorce officially. Recently, Hina Khan reacted to the same and revealed that she is heartbroken and also says that she has respect for the couple.
Taking to her Instagram, the actress shared a post and wrote, “(Heartbroken emojis) but to be the best one must learn, how to handle the worst. #NothingButGraceful Wishing you both all the best.”
Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao also took to their social media and wrote a joint statement, “We began a planned separation some time ago, and now feel comfortable to formalize this arrangement, of living separately yet sharing our lives the way an extended family does. We remain devoted parents to our son Azad, who we will nurture and raise together. We will also continue to work as collaborators on films, Paani Foundation, and other projects that we feel passionate about.”
They also stated that they will be raising their son together in the coming time. The couple will also continue to work together on their projects.
The couple tied the knot on December 28, 2005. They met on the sets of the film Lagaan, directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. The movie was /one of the most commercially successful Indian movies, where the former was an assistant director.
Kiran Rao was known as a co-producer of several films. Films include Jaane Tu…Ya Jaane Na, Peepli Live, Delhi Belly, Dangal, and the documentary Rubaru Roshni.
