Recently in an episode, Singer Kishore Kumar’s son Amit Kumar visited the show. Amit revealed that he was asked to praise the contestants. The show host Aditya Narayan took a dig at Amit Kumar’s comment.

Some of the netizens have been slamming her after she sang the popular Hindi song Humko Sirf Pyaar Hai with Ashish Kulkarni. Some of her fans also demanded her get evicted. In an interview, She said that the greatest singer like Michael Jackson had to endure criticism. ‘I came to know about what is happening after few of my well-wishers reached out to me. I tried to take the trolls with a pinch of salt. The 17 year further said that even the greatest of the artists in the likes of Michael Jackson had to endure criticism. “All I know is music. I am doing this because I like to sing and perform. And I believe that work speaks for itself. Going ahead, I will out in the beat of my efforts to showcase my skills in the forthcoming rounds.”
Shahmukhapriya’s mother Ratnamala also said that, ‘Shanmukha is trying to experiment with genres. As far as the choice of songs is concerned, all the contestants in Indian Idol perform the tracks given to them by the showrunners. Despite receiving criticism, she has been fortunate to get double the love and affection from the viewers.
Legendary singer Kishore Kumar’s son Amit Kumar also appeared as a guests on the show and later criticized it for the quality of singing. He revealed that he wanted to stop the episode.
