Off Campus Stars Mika Abdalla and Josh Heuston Go Public

Mika Abdalla and Josh Heuston made their first public appearance as a couple at Valentino's Paris Fashion Week show on October 4.

Off Campus co-stars make romance official in Paris

Mika Abdalla and Josh Heuston have given their fans the confirmation they had been waiting for. The Off Campus co-stars made their first official appearance as a couple at Valentino’s Spring/Summer 2027 show in Paris on October 4, turning a front-row runway moment into a relationship reveal.

The actors play Allie Hayes and Justin Kohl in the hockey romance series, so the idea of a real-life pairing had already taken hold among viewers. In Paris, they gave it the full treatment: holding hands, smiling through the cameras and settling into front-row seats. A hard launch is exactly that—a couple choosing a big public moment to confirm the story, rather than putting out a statement.

What happened at Valentino

Videos from the venue show Heuston offering Abdalla his hand as she stepped off the bus, and the pair laughing together as they walked into the Bibliotheque Sainte-Genevieve. Abdalla wore a flowing lime-yellow chiffon dress with lilac flower detailing, while Heuston chose a white open-knit sweater with grey trousers and a statement belt. Both carried books, a nod to the historic library setting of the show.

One clip of Abdalla whispering to Heuston quickly went viral. Fans had already been keeping a close watch on the pair, and the new footage gave them plenty to talk about. Social media was quick to crown them the It couple of the year.

The timeline fans were already following

  • June 2026: Romance rumours begin after the two are spotted being affectionate in Paris.
  • June 2026: Abdalla’s representative confirms she and Jake Short have ended their engagement.
  • August 2026: Abdalla and Heuston are reportedly seen together in Vancouver.
  • October 4, 2026: The couple makes their first official public appearance at Paris Fashion Week.

What came before the Paris reveal

Abdalla was previously engaged to actor Jake Short, whom she met in 2021 while working on the Hulu film Sex Appeal. They got engaged in 2025 and parted ways in June 2026 after around four to five years together. At the time, her representative told Us Weekly that the former couple continued to support each other and asked for privacy. “They continue to support each other and remain on friendly terms, and kindly ask for privacy and respect,” the representative said.

The Paris appearance lands after months of quieter sightings. That pattern makes it feel less like an impulsive decision and more like a carefully timed moment chosen by the couple.

What’s next for Off Campus fans

Abdalla is set to return as a series regular for the second season of Off Campus. Heuston is not expected to return because of scheduling conflicts. That means viewers may not get more of Allie and Justin together on screen, at least for now. The off-screen story, however, is now the one everyone is watching.
