Koffee With Karan 9 Leads the OTT Watchlist This Week

Streaming platforms are stacking the middle of October with Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and English titles. The release window between October 14 and October 17 gives Indian viewers a chance to line up reality TV, celebrity chat, regional exclusives and mountain drama without waiting for the weekend.

Koffee With Karan 9 sets the pace

The biggest appointment watch for TV audiences is Koffee With Karan Season 9. It begins streaming on October 14 on The Peacock Hub on JioHotstar, which keeps the show close to the channel audience. Fans who follow celebrity conversations can catch the new season right at the start of the week.

JioHotstar also carries Kappi Squad from October 15 and Saale Aashiq, which is already available on the platform. For reality viewers, Roadies Rebirth premieres on October 16 and will run every Friday and Saturday at 7 PM on JioHotstar and MTV.

Netflix and South Indian titles

Netflix adds Enna Vilai on October 15. The Tamil title will be available in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam, making it easy to sample beyond Tamil. Netflix is also pointing viewers to “Southverse”, its search collection for South Indian films and shows, so this release could be a good entry point for the wider catalogue. The Diplomat Season 4 and The Storm are also listed in the platform’s week.

Regional platforms and exclusives

Sun NXT has Kagitham Padayalu exclusively from October 16. Aha Tamil premieres Yen Yennai Edhoseidhai the same day, while Saina Play streams Adinaasham Vellappokkam from October 16. ManoramaMAX opens It’s a Medical Miracle on October 15.

Chaupal is bringing Jihne Mera Ghar Patteya on October 15 at 1 PM and the uncut version of Dastaar on October 17. Simply South lists 4ldiots for October 16, as a worldwide release excluding India.

Reality drama and international picks

Amazon Prime Video’s India slate includes Masterplan, and The Traitors Telugu starts its weekly run on October 15 at 12 PM every Thursday. Lionsgate Play has Sacrifice and The Super scheduled for October 16.

Apple TV’s Tenzing also arrives on October 16. The title centres on leadership against the challenge of Everest, which may draw viewers who want an inspirational story after the reality slate.

Plan the binge before the weekend

Several of these titles are arriving mid-week, so the usual Friday check could mean missing a premiere. Here is a quick planner:

• October 14: Koffee with Karan Season 9 — JioHotstar
• October 15: Enna Vilai — Netflix; The Traitors Telugu — Prime Video; It’s a Medical Miracle — ManoramaMAX; Jihne Mera Ghar Patteya — Chaupal
• October 16: Roadies Rebirth — JioHotstar/MTV; Kagitham Padayalu — Sun NXT; Yen Yennai Edhoseidhai — Aha Tamil; Sacrifice and The Super — Lionsgate Play; Tenzing — Apple TV
• October 17: Dastaar uncut — Chaupal

Because some of these are platform exclusives and one international title is not streaming in India, availability can differ. Check the streaming app directly before you commit to a watchlist.
