Kamya Punjabi was a good friend of “Balika Vadhu” actress Pratyusha Banerjee. Even after the death of Pratyusha, Kamya has remained true to her friendship. She is still very protective of Pratyusha. Kamya Punjabi slammed producer Vikas Gupta for his recent insensitive statements.
Vikas Gupta recently opened up about his bisexuality. He stated, “Pratyusha got to know about it after we broke up. We were together for a short span. The break-up reason was that some people spoke badly about me to her. I was very annoyed with her after the break-up so I avoided her. I liked Pratyusha, I wanted to do a big project with her. Alas!”
Kamya Punjabi was approached to verify the statements of Vikas Gupta. The actress retorted, “Let’s respect those who are not with us and not talk about anyone’s personal life. Pratyusha isn’t there to tell the world whether it’s true or incorrect. She isn’t there to verify these claims. Why is Vikas talking about his past with her now? Fame chahiye ki kya chahiye? I don’t appreciate it at all. I didn’t read or watch the interview. I don’t want to know ki Pratyusha ke baare mein sach likha hai, jhooth likha hai ya tareef likhi hai.”
