Actor and Bigg Boss 13 winner Sidharth Shukla left for his heavenly abode on September 2. Before his untimely death, he had shot for a music video with Shehnaaz Gill. However, the shoot of the song “Adhura” was incomplete. Since SidNaaz fans have been eagerly looking forward to the music video, the makers decided to release their last song.
Subsequent to the maker’s decision, the singer of the song shared the first look poster on social media. The song has been sung by Shreya Ghoshal and penned by Arko Pravo Mukherjee.
Sharing the poster, Shreya wrote, “He was a star and will be forever. The love of millions of hearts will shine bright forever. #Habit our unfinished song… #Ahura hai par phir bhi poora rahega… #Sidnaaz ka yeh aakhri gaana, har fan ki khwahish, hamesha ke liye humare dilon mein zinda rahega. Releasing on the 21st October.”
For the unversed, the track the song was titled ‘Habit’ at the time of mentally visualizing. However, due to the untimely demise of Sidharth Shukla, the makers changed it to ‘Adhura’.
Immediately, upon the release of the song’s poster on social media, fans expressed their resentment. Therefore, the makers decided to retain the title as per the initial concept.
Subsequently, the makers announced on Monday that they going ahead with the original title of the song. They wrote, “#SidNaaz fans: We heard you. Make way for Habit. Enough said!”
Nonetheless, Sidharth Shukla, who breathed his last on September 2, left millions of his fans heartbroken. Sidharth’s fan club is popularly known as SidHearts. Shehnaaz Gill being the actor’s alleged girlfriend, SidHearts referred to them as “SidNaaz”.
