Indian Idol 12 Aditya Narayan and his wife Shweta Agarwal Jha tested positive for COVID-19 during the second wave in India. While Aditya is hospitalized, Shweta is in self quarantine at home.
The news was shared by Aditya on his social media. He took to his Instagram page and shared a selfie with Shweta while in the caption mentioned about diagnosed with coronavirus. In his post, Aditya wrote, “Hello all! Unfortunately, my wife @shwetaagarwaljha & I have tested positive for Covid-19 & are in quarantine. Please stay safe, continue to follow protocol & do keep us in your prayers. This too shall pass.”
Singer Neha Kakkar, who is a judge of the show Indian Idol commented on the post by the reality show host “Get Well Soon”. Aditya Narayan was replaced by Jay Bhanushali and Rithvik Dhanjani as the host of Indian Idol 12.
Playback singer Udit Narayan confirmed the news and said that he has received a text message from Aditya. The message reads “Papa, don’t worry about me. I am okay. Just pray for me”. While Aditya Narayan is hospitalized, his wife Shweta is in self quarantine at home.
Aditya Narayan has posted a nice picture of himself with his wife Shweta from their honeymoon in Kashmir. The two of them got married in December 2020 and were preparing to move into their own house which is a stone’s throw away from Udit Narayan’s residence. However, now their plans have been put on hold.
