The reality programme ‘Smart Jodi’ has crowned Ankita Lokhande and her husband Vicky Jain as the winners.
Ankita Lokahnde and Vicky Jain, the most popular pair in Telly Town, have a good reason to party hard. The couple took home the title of ‘Smart Jodi,’ a popular couple reality show on Star Plus. Ankita and Vicky won a cash award of Rs 25 lakh in addition to the dazzling huge golden trophy. After defeating comedian Balraj Syal and his wife Deepti Tuli, who have crowned runners-up in the grand finale, the pair emerged as champions.
On her Instagram account, the actress posted a video of herself and Vicky hoisting the award with the caption, “Look how far we’ve come my darling We are meant to be.” MAKE IT LARGE was what we were supposed to do.” The Pavitra Rishta actress remarked that she and her co-stars won the programme because they were genuine. “This show was all about spending time with Vicky since he is in Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh) most of the time and I am in Mumbai. This was a new beginning for us and we enjoyed being a part of the show. We actually discovered many things about each other in the last few months.”
Ankita further said that in Smart Jodi, she discovered a new Vicky Jain. She went on to say that she recognised Vicky has a competitive attitude similar to hers. Vicky, she assumed, would be camera-shy, but he turned out to be a great comedian and a lovely character. “Both of us are fit and communicate well, too. Jabse inka saath mila hai, I have been a different person altogether. He’s a balanced guy, who brings balance in my life. I just want to say thank you for everything that you have done for me,” Ankita further said.
