Actress and model Arshi Khan who appeared on ‘Bigg Boss 14’ as a challenger, has bought a new house in Mumbai. She revealed that it was her dream to have a home of her own in the city.
In an interview, Arshi shared about the struggles she had to go through to buy a dream house, “Actually I was in talks to buy the property for a long time. I booked it in 2019 and in 2020 Covid-19 happened. I was already in stress as I was not that strong financially. With no work, I was literally stressed that how will I arrange that sum. Luckily, my movies happened, and then OTT shows. Bigg Boss 14 was of great help. I was literally risking everything to buy a house here in Mumbai just to make my dreams come true.
“I feel my dream has been fulfilled by all the blessings of God and my parents. It was God, who got me fortunate enough to do Bigg Boss this year. I remember about being approached for the same last to last year and Khatron Ke Khiladi but unfortunately things did not fall in place. So, I am quite in a happy place now and look forward to do more work. I never spoke about my problems or financial troubles ever in Bigg Boss or in media. I just want to make people laugh and will feel happy when they remember me. I don’t need a ‘bechari’ image. I enjoy to have a fun-filled life and enjoy laughter around me. It’s not that I don’t have issues in life. I have seen a lot but with time, I have learned to cope up, “
Arshi released the pictures of her house in her Instagram stories after she moved into her apartment on Monday. She shared a glimpse of her kitchen, the living area, and the storage area was visible.
Talking about her new house, the actress said, “I want peace at home and white brings in peace. So I have decided to have light shades as my interior. I’m designing things my way and interior designers are helping me and they are making things exactly how I wish. It’s almost done. Now, it’s on final touches.”
