Bigg Boss 15 kickstarted its grand finale on January 29 where we got our top five finalists. Now there are many speculations about the winner of this season. There appears to be a tough fight amongst Shamita Shetty, Karan Kundrra, Tejasswi Prakash, Pratik Sehajpal, and Nishant Bhat. The grand finale began with the big announcement of Rashami Desai’s elimination.
Consequent to a new twist introduced in the Bigg Boss 15 house at the last moment Rashami Desai got evicted. Losing her spot in the top five was surprising for Rashami as well as the viewers. In the 29th January episode, the contestant’s moms were invited on the stage to announce this sudden eviction. While the contestants got emotional seeing them, what was announced next shocked them all. The task to announce the eviction was given to the contestants’ moms.
Nonetheless, Salman Khan welcomed the finalists’ moms on the stage. After the contestants shared emotional moments with their parents, Salman announced that the moms will be announcing who is getting evicted tonight. They were seen standing in front of their child’s placards. The contestants’ mothers were asked to remove their child’s photo from the placards. While the moms removed the pictures, it was revealed whether the contestant was safe or unsafe. When Rashami’s mother removed the photo, it was revealed that Rashami gets evicted.
Meanwhile, this was Rashami’s second appearance on the popular reality show. She was earlier a part of Bigg Boss 13 and was eliminated during the grand finale.
Rashami feels entering Bigg Boss 15 as a wild card contestant was a disadvantage
Subsequent to her eviction, Rashami was quizzed by Salman Khan about her journey and where she went wrong. To this, the Uttaran actress replied, “To reach here has been a matter of luck for me. I think, entering the season in between makes it difficult for the wild card contestants to secure a position and leave a mark. However, somehow I have managed to make it to the top 6 which is an achievement for me”.
Furthermore, Salman also quizzed Rashami on who is she supporting now in the Bigg Boss 15 show. To this, Rashami replied that she is supporting Shamita Shetty. The grand finale will now continue in the January 30 episode where the winner of this season will be announced.
