Bigg Boss 20: First Wild Card Is Manish Goel, Another Teased

Bigg Boss 20 has its first wild card, and the timing is classic Weekend Ka Vaar. Television actor Manish Goel entered the house on Saturday’s episode, joining host Salman Khan on stage before stepping inside to shake up the game.

A prank, an entry, and a first impression

Before Manish walked in, Salman and the actor ran a small trick on the housemates. Contestants were led to believe that Manish had come to promote an upcoming project, a familiar Bigg Boss routine, only for the visit to turn into a full-fledged entry. The switch gave the housemates a jolt and gave Manish a chance to share his early read on the room.

One of his first observations was about Mahhi Vij, whom he described as calculative. The moment was made more interesting because the two have known each other for years, and Mahhi appeared visibly excited to see him.

Who is Manish Goel?

Manish is not a newcomer to Indian television. He has been a steady presence in daily soaps and reality shows alike. His fiction credits include Anupamaa, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Bhabhi, Devi, Bhagyalakshmi, Ayushman Bhava, Tantra and Hamari Wali Good News.

Sunday could bring another twist

Manish’s entry may not be the only surprise this weekend. Salman Khan hinted on the same episode that another contestant is expected on Sunday. The show has not officially confirmed who that will be, but promotions have pushed one name into the spotlight: Nakul Dhull, the social media influencer and content creator also known as Mitthu Don.

Nakul, an engineering graduate from Faridabad, Haryana, has been in the news recently for reasons beyond Bigg Boss. Videos in which he makes disparaging remarks about women have gone viral, including a line in which he refers to women as the “lower gender”. If he does enter, the show would be adding a contestant who arrives with controversy already attached.

Why wild card entries matter

Wild cards are a familiar reset button for Bigg Boss. They bring fresh alliances, new friction and usually a ratings spike because the audience has a reason to check back in. A first wild card can test existing equations, while a second one so soon after can change the house hierarchy before contestants have adjusted to the first shift.

For viewers, the Sunday episode is now about more than routine tasks. It is about whether the speculation is correct and how two new personalities, if Nakul does enter, will fit into a house that is already divided.
