Bigg Boss Malayalam 8 Wildcard Suvarna Quits After One Day

Bigg Boss Malayalam 8 is only a month old, but the house has already burned through ten evictions. Now it has lost one of its newest players before she could settle in. Wildcard entrant Suvarna Pulthukkiyil, who entered on 4 October as one of four wildcards, asked to leave a day later and eventually walked out after a medical episode.

What happened inside the house

Suvarna is known on social media for her outspoken take on culture and gender issues. But inside the Bigg Boss house, she told Bigg Boss from the confession room that the experience was too much. She said she was mentally disturbed, exhausted and unable to take part in tasks.

“Mentally, I can’t handle it,” Suvarna told Bigg Boss.

Bigg Boss tried to change her mind, telling her that the show is not an opportunity everyone gets and asking her to rest and try to adjust her mindset. But after a medical consultation, Suvarna once again said she could not stay, and the house learned about her exit only through an announcement. That meant the other contestants did not get a chance for a proper farewell.

Why it matters for the season

A wildcard entry is supposed to reset the game. Losing one of the four newcomers this quickly puts extra weight on the remaining wildcards, Nilina, Vipin and Vedhangi. With the secret-room reveal still to come, their gameplay now becomes even more important to a season that has already seen heavy eviction traffic.

Suvarna’s exit also puts the mental health pressure of the format back in focus. It is one thing to watch the house from outside; it is another to live inside it with cameras on, tasks on and no easy out.

What to watch next

• Who is still in: The three remaining wildcard entrants Nilina, Vipin and Vedhangi are now the twist to track.
• The next eviction: Gayatri Suresh is facing eviction for the second time, so the week is unlikely to be quiet.
• The secret room: Its reveal has yet to happen and could change the balance inside the house.

For fans, the question now is whether the season can absorb another early exit and keep its energy going. Bigg Boss Malayalam 8 has already shown that the game can shift quickly, and the remaining wildcards will have to deliver the shake-up they were brought in for.
