Bigg Boss Malayalam 8: Shijin Tops Nominations With 6 Votes

Shijin leads the Bigg Boss Malayalam 8 week five nomination list with six votes. Wildcard captains and a first classic vote reshaped the danger zone.

Shijin Tops Bigg Boss Malayalam 8 Nominations With 6 Votes

Bigg Boss Malayalam 8 has reached its fifth week, and the pressure is on again. After a mass eviction thinned the house, the latest nomination list is out, with Shijin sitting on top.

A Captain’s Privilege Opens the Week

The nomination process began with a twist. Bigg Boss gave the four house captains, all wildcard entrants, a special privilege: each captain could send one contestant straight to the eviction list without a discussion.

Vedangi used her pick on Goutham, saying he kept his distance despite her attempts to mingle. Suvarna chose Eldho and accused him of being fake. Vipin nominated Asif for not making an impression, and Nilina picked Tashi for reading tasks poorly.

The First Classic Nomination Round

After the captains’ picks, Bigg Boss opened the season’s first classic nomination process. Housemates went to the confession room and named two people each for elimination.

Rahul went first and chose Shijin, calling him selfish and accusing him of manipulating Komban. He also nominated Komban, saying he was acting like Shijin’s shadow. Eldho nominated Rahul for playing safe and staying away from physical tasks. Shijin nominated Rahul for being a people-pleaser, and Aishwarya over an alleged spitting incident involving Komban.

Who Is on the Eviction List?

When Bigg Boss counted the votes, Shijin topped the list with six votes. Komban followed with five, making him the week’s second most nominated contestant. The names now asking for audience votes to stay safe include Goutham, Eldho, Asif, Tashi, Aishwarya, Rahul, Wikky Thug, Komban and Shijin.

  • Six votes: Shijin tops the list and now faces the biggest test from viewers.
  • Five votes: Komban follows after being drawn into the Shijin-Rahul friction.
  • Captain picks: Goutham, Eldho, Asif and Tashi were put straight on the list before the classic vote.
  • First ever: This week marked the first classic confession-room nomination round of the season.

Why This Week Matters

The house has already seen a mass eviction, so the remaining contestants have less room to hide. A high nomination count does not automatically mean a contestant will leave, but it shows who the housemates currently see as a threat or a weak point.

The Shijin-Komban-Rahul triangle is one to watch because it shaped most of the nominations. Shijin has been accused of controlling Komban’s game, while Rahul has become a target from multiple sides. If these three stay, their next face-offs could define the coming week.

What Fans Can Do

Now the audience gets a say. In a vote-to-save format, supporters can vote through the official platform to protect their favourites. The next eviction will reveal how much the nomination list actually predicts viewer support.
