DayaBen aka Disha Vakani of TMKOC has given birth to her second kid, a newborn boy, according to her brother Mayur Vakani.
Actress Disha Vakani, who is well known for her role as Dayaben in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has had her second child. You read that correctly! Disha has given birth to her second child, a boy. Mayur Padia, her husband, and Mayur Vakani, her brother, both verified the good news to ETimes. Disha is said to have given birth to her second child just a few days ago. On November 30, 2017, Disha and her husband Mayur had their first child, a baby girl named Stuti.
Confirming the news, Disha’s brother said, “I am happy that I have become an uncle again. In 2017, Disha had her baby girl and now she has become a mother again, and I have become mama again. I am very happy.” Last year in December, Disha sparked rumours of her second pregnancy when she was spotted flaunting her baby bump at a family function.
To be clear, Disha Vakani has been absent from TMKOC since 2017, and producer Asit Kumarr Modi just stated in an interview that she is likely to return to the show. He stated that the team plans to debut her tune shortly, but that they are unsure if Disha would reprise her role as Dayaben. “Whether it is Disha ben or Nisha ben, we will surely get Daya’s character back in the show,” Asit stated.
Notably, Mayur, who portrays Sunderlal in the programme, acknowledged Disha’s comeback and stated that there is no reason why she should not return to the show because she has been a part of it for so long.
