Dance Deewane 3 will have Actress Urmila Matondkar as a guest in this weekend’s episode. Urmila has many hit movies to her credit. However, the movie “Rangeela” was unconventional. This movie brought a new turn to Urmila Matondkar’s film career.
In the movie, Urmila starred alongside Aamir Khan and Jackie Shroff. Her performance in the movie was praised very much. On the sets of “Dance Deewane”, Urmila made a revelation about Aamir Khan.
On the sets of Dance Deewane 3, Urmila mentioned that she sent a letter to Aamir Khan. While dubbing “Rangeela” Urmila was very impressed with Aamir’s performance. Therefore, she declared in the letter that Aamir will receive an award for his performance. The actress wrote, “You’ll get many letters after this performance and you’ll get awards as well. But this will be the first fan letter you’ll get.”
Though Aamir was nominated in the Best Actor category at the Filmfare Awards, he lost to Shah Rukh Khan. Shah Rukh Khan won the award for Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.
On the show, Urmila danced to Aa Hi Jaiye from the movie Lajja. Urmila was joined by the show’s judge Madhuri Dixit. Also, Madhuri and Urmila celebrated three decades of Madhuri’s movie Saajan. They both danced on the song Tu Shayar Hai Main Teri Shayari”.
