On the auspicious occasion, Indian Idol contestants would sing some of the most melodious verses of Ramayan. During the shoot, the Yoga Guru was seen enjoying himself listening to the pleasant voices of the contestants. Baba Ramdev revealed that it was Ram Navami’s day when he decided to give up all the worldly comforts. Baba took Sanyas on the day of Ram Navami hence he considers the day to be very special.
Baba Ramdev said, “27 years back on the occasion of Ram Navami, I decided I want to dedicate my life to simple living and get rid of all the amenities and comfort of life. Ram Navami holds a very special place in my heart as this is the day when I got a new life and I started living a simple and sober life. Today, I would like to bless all the contestants of Indian idol as their voices gave me goosebumps, they are so melodious, and their voices take you into another zone altogether. Wish them all the luck for their future.”
The melodic rendition of Ramayan left the judges Neha Kakkar, Vishal Dadlani and Himesh Reshammiya also mesmerized. This weekend’s special episode of Indian Idol 12 is sure to transport viewers to another world. The Yoga Guru shared yoga tips with the contestants on the sets.
