Indian Idol 12: Strict diktats in place to keep the sets corona free

The second wave of Covid-19 is hitting the nation hard.  Of late, several netizens have voiced that Bollywood and the TV industry are continuing to put themselves and others in danger. Many TV and Bollywood celebrities have tested positive for Coronavirus during the second wave. Recently, Aditya Narayan Indian Idol 12 host had tested positive for Covid-19.

The host of Indian 12, Aditya Narayan himself confirmed the news by posting it on social media.  Aditya Narayan’s wife Shweta also tested positive for Covid-19.  The news made many of the Indian Idol fans wonder regarding the precautions being taken on the sets of the reality show.  In view of the host of the show contacting the virus, it would be pertinent to exercise caution.  While the show must go on, certain precautions are very much required. 

It is totally understood that the entertainment industry like many other has encountered a major set-back.  Post lockdown imposed for arresting the virus, the industry has been trying to revive the activities in the best possible way.  The team of Indian Idol 12 is also doing everything in their power. They are ensuring that safety of the contestants and other team members is not compromised. In their effort to maintain stringent safety protocols, Indian Idol 12 is ensuring that the celebrity guests coming on set are also screened. 

It is heartening to note that the makers of Indian Idol 12 are setting the right example.  Many on the set of Indian Idol season 12 may have come in contact with Aditya before his infection could be detected.  Therefore, the makers of the show are taking enhanced precautions.  They are ensuring that everyone else is coronavirus free.  It is felt that there is little chance for another person to get infected on the sets.  Regular tests being conducted for contestants and team members as a precautionary measure.

Last week’s episode of Indian Idol 12 was hosted by Jay Bhanushali.  It is reported that the forthcoming special episode of the reality show will be hosted by Rithvik Dhanjani.
