Indian Idol 12 is one of the most popular shows on TV. The talented contestants were chosen from all over the country for this singing reality show. Himesh Reshammiya, Neha Kakkar, and Vishal Dadlani are the three judges of the Indian Idol 12. Vishal Dadlani quit the show amid the second wave of COVID-19. He was replaced by none other than Anu Malik, who had been in the show’s previous seasons. During Indian Idol, 11 #MeToo allegations were leveled against him and composer Anu Malik left the show.
Vishal Dadlani has opened up on why he won’t return to the show. Vishal will not be part of the show till the lockdown is lifted in the state. The music composer said, “Not till the quasi lockdown is done with.” He also did not travel with the Indian Idol 12 team when the shoot was shifted to Daman. The music composer and singer shifted to Lonavala with his parents sometime back. The commute from Mumbai to Daman had risks of being infected during the travel. Vishal is overly protective of his parents, he would like to take all our precautions for his parents’ health.
The reality show host Aditya Narayan supports Vishal Dadlani. Aditya feels that when in doubt one must follow their instincts. The other judges Neha Kakkar and Himesh Reshammiya are off and on appearing in the show. The shooting of the show during lockdown was done in Daman following Covid-19 protocols. The team of Indian Idol 12 has shot enough content for one month. and returned to Mumbai. Presently the judges on the show are Anu Malik and lyricist Manoj Muntashir.
