Sumona Chakravarti best known for featuring in “The Kapil Sharma Show”, has opened up about the emotional toll that the coronavirus-induced lockdown has taken on her. Sumona recently decided to share her personal turmoil with fans through social media. Taking to Instagram on Friday night, the actor shared her diverse emotions that she is going through amid the lockdown. Sumona disclosed that since 2011, she has been battling endometriosis, a disorder in which the tissue that normally lines the uterus grows outside the uterus.
The lockdown has been emotionally hard for her. Sumona thought of sharing her feelings to let people know that everyone is struggling and fighting something in their lives at this time. Her decision to open up with the intention to inspire people.
Sumona has acted in movies like “Barfi”, and has worked in teleserial “Bade Achche Lagte Hain”. She became a household name after she played Kapil Sharma’s wife in the hit comedy show ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’. Her on-screen teasing with Kapil is loved by the audiences and they continued to work together in ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ as well.
