Divyanka Tripathi is currently shooting in Cape Town for the reality show “Khatron Ke Khiladi 11″. As per the actress, this is the first time since their marriage that they will be apart for this long. Referred to as Divek by fans the two tied the knot in 2016. Divyanka said that it was a tough decision to leave her husband Vivek Dahiya at home. It took the couple an entire week for preparing themselves for the day when Divyanka was to leave for Cape Town.
The actress while talking to a news agency that the family members of all contestants were reluctant to let them leave the country amidst the pandemic. According to Divyanka, the family members of the contestants are the actual ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ for allowing them to leave at this stage. Divyanka confessed she was excited to be associated with something as adventurous as KKK. Prior to shifting to Mumbai Divyanka used to participate in adventurous activities like camping. She used to be away from home for as long as 50 days at a stretch.  After the actress moved to Mumbai she had been working incessantly for the last so many years. Therefore, KKK 11 is a long-awaited opportunity.
Divyanka talks about second wave of COVID
On the deadly second wave of Covid, Divyanka says that it is a tough time not only for the entertainment industry but also in other fields. In fact, acting professionals are used to this pattern. When they are working, they work for extended hours and schedules are erratic. But when there is no work, like between shows, they work on themselves and make the most of the available time at hand. Divyanka added, “We are trying to stay safe because currently more than work, life is important. We are trying to be healthy mentally and keep doing activities at home or play the game to distract ourselves and keep ourselves happy. During this time, mental health is important, and it is important to stay in touch with your loved ones at all times,” she said.

Recently, a video had surfaced of Rahul Vaidya complimenting Divyanka on the stunt. He mentioned that he could not open about the details but at the same time could not stop raving. Divyanka also shared a fun banter on her Instagram story saying she had bribed Rahul to compliment her.
Vivek too is using this time away to be with his family. He is back in his hometown Chandigarh. Vivek had shared a story of enjoying Rajma Chawal made by his mother. He also shared few stories with his sister who has turned into a wedding planner.
