Kishori Shahane and Supriya Shukla likely to join Mannat cast

IWMBuzz reports the two senior actors are being lined up as powerful matriarchs in the generation leap of Colors TV's Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki.

Kishori Shahane and Supriya Shukla likely in Mannat cast

Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki is getting ready for a generation leap, and the new family tree may include two familiar faces. According to an IWMBuzz exclusive, senior actors Kishori Shahane and Supriya Shukla are likely to join the Colors TV show as the story moves into a new chapter.

The daily soap, produced by Mukta Dhond’s Malhar Content Creators, launched in January 2025. The makers are now refreshing the narrative with a new lead pair: Namik Paul, known for Naagin 7, and Tanvi Dogra, known for Parineetii. Ayesha Singh and Adnan Khan are set to exit after their successful run. Earlier, IWMBuzz reported that Mousumi Debnath has been cast to play the male lead’s sister.

Where Shahane and Shukla fit

As the new chapter takes shape, Shahane and Shukla are being considered for the roles of powerful matriarchs—one in the male lead’s family and one in the female lead’s family. That kind of casting is a familiar move in daily soaps. A generation leap brings fresh leads, but strong mother figures give the new story its emotional stakes and keep older viewers anchored.

Both actors already share a professional history with producer Mukta Dhond. Shahane was last seen in Sairaab and, if talks work out, would rejoin Dhond after working with her on Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye. Shukla has a long association with Dhond through Kumkum Bhagya.

What the new Mannat cast looks like

  • New leads: Namik Paul and Tanvi Dogra take the story forward after the generation leap.
  • Family anchors: Kishori Shahane and Supriya Shukla are likely to play the matriarchs.
  • Already reported: Mousumi Debnath is said to be playing the male lead’s sister.

Don’t take it as official just yet

There is no on-record confirmation from the actors, the producer or the channel so far. IWMBuzz says it reached out to Shahane and Shukla, as well as the producer and channel spokesperson, but did not get a response before filing the story. So the casting is best read as a strong possibility, not a final announcement.

For the audience, a generation leap is a delicate moment. The old leads leave, and the new pair has to win loyalty quickly. Bringing in seasoned actors like Shahane and Shukla, who have played family politics before, is a way to maintain the show’s emotional grammar while the new story finds its feet.

For fans of Mannat Har Khushi Paane Ki, this is a clear sign that the leap will not leave the two new leads without a family frame. If the casting falls into place, expect the kind of matriarch-driven power equations that keep daily soap audiences talking.
