After beautifully portraying a strong woman called Anupamaa in the show of the same name, Rajan Shahi is bringing back another powerful female character Pratigya on the telly. The ace producer’s Director’s Kut Productions along with Pearl Grey, who has come on-board as the writer, creative producer, and showrunner, are getting the second season of the popular show “Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya” on Star Bharat.
Starring Pooja Gor, Arhaan Behll and Anupam Shyam, the new season, titled “Mann Ki Awaaz Pratigya 2”, will take a leap of nine years from where the original story ended. The makers have released a strong promo featuring Sajjan (Anupam) and Pooja. While Sajjan says these nine years were the calm before the storm and he is ready to capture the whole of India, Pratigya vows to retaliate to Sajjan’s actions.
Though the release date of the show is not out yet, the team is currently shooting the outdoor schedule in Prayagraj and will move to Mumbai for the next schedule.
The first season of the show revolved around Pratigya, who was forced to marry her stalker Krishna, but eventually falls in love with him, her struggle to fight for her rights in the regressive Thakur family, and how slowly she gains the support of her husband and a few others in the family.
The show had left an everlasting impression on the audience, and going by the new promo we can expect the second season to be more powerful and impactful.
