Several leading Bollywood stars had contracted the deadly disease earlier. Celebrities like Aamir Khan, R Madhvan, Sachin Tendulkar, Ranbir Kapoor and others have been infected with the virus. And now, as per reports actor Amar Upadhyay has also been tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
In an interview, Amar Upadhyay also revealed the same, “I am asymptomatic and don’t have any cough, cold or fever. I am so full of energy that I can walk up the wall and down (laughs!). I was so happy shooting that sitting at home in isolation feels like punishment. I have been shooting continuously for the past few months. Molkki was keeping me busy and I was also shooting for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. Despite taking all safety precautions, I don’t know how I got the virus.”
The actor further added, “After staying at home during the lockdown last year, I am happy to have bagged some interesting projects. We had an exciting track coming up and I was all geared up for it. Now, I will have to sit at home and do nothing for 14 days. I am hoping that my reports come back negative soon so that I can get back to work.”
Amar is currently seen in Mokki and the show has become quite popular. The actor was also known for his roles in ‘Saath Nibhana Saathiya’, ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’, and others.
