Monica Khanna a well known name of Indian Television Industry. Her performance as a Shraddha in Thapki Pyaar ki and as Zeenat in Ishq Subhan Allah loved by the audience. Currently Monica is working in Prem Bandhan opened up about her struggling days, Bullying On The Set and what’s her take on Beauty Stereotype in TV Industry.
While talking about her struggling days Monica said her real struggle started after her first show as she was not working for one year. Monica had no gas stove or a Refrigerator that’s why she use to drink just a Black Coffee. There were some incidence where Monica got Bullied by her Co-actors and now she have come a long way and one of the best from Indian Television Industry.
Monica Recall the moments when she got bullied on the set as she had no Idea about technicalities. she had no accessories at home, Monica use to eat a lot on set and because of this people use to question her or pass comments on her like “You Are Becoming Fat”. Monica added she use to cry but never tell anyone about her situation to anyone as people become judgmental when they don’t know about Backstory. Monica feels people should give helping hands to others when they see someone putting efforts to do something.
Monica also says that beauty standards have been set in this Industry and being Fair and Thin is called beautiful. Monica thinks this is the sad Reality of this society but still believe things are changing slowly but surely.
