India has a wonderful past, having instances of bravery and loyalty. MX Player brings one such story of King Chhatrasal. The ruler fought a war with Aurangzeb to free his kingdom, Bundelkhand. Chhatrasal is a historical film based on the life of the unsung fighter.
“Chhatrasal” trailer is out now and the show goes live on MX Player on 29th July. Neena Gupta is the narrator for this period drama. Jitin Gulati is the lead role of King Chhatrasal. Ashutosh Rana is Aurangzeb in the show.
Speaking about the role, Jitin Gulati said, “It is an honor to be playing the role of such a historical figure. Some stories deserve to be told and this is one of them. Chhatrasal was a hero, who started the fight for independence. I hope viewers are inspired by the tale of this unsung warrior.”
Elaborating on the same, Ashutosh Rana said, “I have played negative characters in the past. To play the character of Aurangzeb, allowed me to explore a different genre of acting. I hope that the audiences relive the bravery of Maharaja Chhatrasal with this web series.”
