Actress Payal Rohatgi was recently arrested by Ahmedabad police for allegedly threatening the residents of her housing society. The complaint was been filed against the actress who hurled abuses at the chairperson of the society.
On Thursday, a police case was registered against her. The complaint was lodged by society chairman Dr Parag Shah, inspector A S Roy of Satellite police station.
As per the society chairman, the actress used derogatory language in the society WhatsApp group and also hurled abuses at the chairperson of the society on now-deleted social media post. The complainant also stated that Payal Rohatgi threatened to break the leg of anyone who argued with her and got into a verbal fight over a common plot used as a playing area.
Payal Rohatgi has been staying with her parents in a society in the Satellite area of Ahmedabad for the last one year. The complainant claimed that Payal has been harassing society members and even she warned them that she will break their legs if they played in the common area.
Earlier, the actress had been into a trouble for a Facebook video in which she made objectionable comments against Motilal Nehru’s family.
On the work front, Payal had featured in various Bollywood movies like ‘Ugly Aur Pagli’, ’36 China Town’ and ‘Dil Kabaddi’. The actress also made her acting debut with the film ‘Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai’ in 2002. Payal also seen on reality tv shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi 2 and Bigg Boss 2.  She is in a relationship with wrestler Sangram Singh for a long time.
Payal had started her career with the Femina Miss India pagenant in 2000. She won the title of Supermodel Miss Tourism World.
