Tv actor Pearl V Puri has recently been granted bail in the rape case of the minor girl. The actor was booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual offences act. The mother of the victim has been granted interim relief by the session court till July 2,2021. Lawyer Swapna kode stated that, “My client has been granted interim relief by the Hon’ble Sessions Court till 2/7. My client has been made an accused in the POSCO case and hence she has approached the court.”
The lawyer further mentioned that the client was been forced to move the court as she she was informed that she has been made an accused, “My client was forced to move the court as she was informed that she has been made an accused and the reason given was she did not inform anyone in spite of knowing about the incident so she had no option but to move for anticipatory bail and the matter has been posted for July 2.”
Pearl v Puri’s Lawyer confirmed the news about the actor’s bail and said, “By evening he will be at home with mom. Pearl’s friend designer Rashmi Aarya was at the hearing too. We will see what to do, how we will go ahead with it, then we will challenge it. We will certainly challenge his arrest and everything.”
Actress Divya Khosla also took to her social media and expressed her happiness. She wrote, “Bail granted @pearlvpuri. Congratulations to all the various fan clubs for the immense support. Have great faith on our judiciary that the entire truth will come out very soon. Satyameva Jayate.”
Pearl v Puri was granted bail by the session court of Vasai after being in Judicial custody for 11 days.
