Weekly Hindi TV Twists: Anupamaa, Yeh Rishta, TMKOC and More

Hindi general entertainment channels delivered a packed week of twists between 28 September and 4 October 2026. If you missed an episode or two, this round-up gets you ready for the next set of cliffhangers across Star Plus, Zee TV, Sony SAB and Colors TV.

Seven shows, seven turns

Here is the quick version of what moved the story forward.

• Anupamaa: Anupamaa rejected RV’s offer to enter the business with Raahi and Prem. Ansh’s support helped her loan get sanctioned, while RV discovered her partnership with Digvijay. A conversation about Saavi left him emotional, and Anupamaa made it clear that Anuj remains her soulmate.
• Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Maira and Kabir’s relationship pulled the Poddar and Damani households into a fight. Armaan’s temple plan went wrong when Maira escaped and left a letter, which Abhira later found. Maira and Kabir then left their homes to be together, turning family tension into an open clash.
• Vasudha: Tijan Devi gained control of the Chauhan house, while Chandrika handed company functioning rights to Lajwanti for Prabhat’s sake. Prabhat showed signs of recovery, but Birju was unhappy. Vasudha also learned that Phool liked Dev and that Birju had a hand in Prabhat’s accident.
• Tumm Se Tumm Tak: Aryavardhan was arrested, then released after Jhende and Anu exposed Meera’s actions. Mansi’s revelations pushed Gayatri to oust Meera from the house and company, and Meera began plotting revenge.
• Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah: Tapu Sena and the Purush Mandali went to the police station to expose the real culprits. Once Chalu Pandey caught them, Popatlal was freed, got a grand welcome, and the society recovered its stolen possessions before turning to Ganesh festivities.
• Bareilly Ke Bacchan: Sangam learned from Krishna that Ganga was lost in thoughts of Aarti and set about finding a match for him. A family meeting ended with Jyoti rejecting Ganga, leaving the Bacchan household worried.
• Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi: Karan apologised to Tulsi and planned to divorce Nandini, but Tulsi told him not to. The Viranis held a Sunderkhand puja on Mihir’s birthday, Anupam questioned Mandira’s obsessive love, and Mihir spotted Shobha at the airport.

Why this week’s turns matter

Daily soaps run on this very rhythm: one revelation, one exit or one family standoff at a time. The fresh friction around Anupamaa’s business choices and the Yeh Rishta couple’s walkout sets up questions that will play out across the coming week, while TMKOC’s lighter festive track gives viewers a breather.

For fans who follow multiple shows, a weekly speed-run is often easier than rewatching an entire week. It helps you jump back in without feeling lost, especially when social media is already buzzing about a specific moment.

What to keep an eye on next

The next few episodes will likely pick up from these unresolved points: Anupamaa’s Digvijay partnership and RV’s reaction, the two Yeh Rishta families after Maira and Kabir’s exit, Meera’s revenge in Tumm Se Tumm Tak, and the festive build-up in TMKOC. If you have time for only one catch-up, follow the track that has been driving the most conversation in your feed.
