Bigg Boss Ads Lift Awareness 1.33x for Repeat Sponsors
Asian Paints expands from three regional Bigg Boss editions to five as repeat sponsors bet on context, habit and brand lift over plain reach.

Same show, bigger role
Bigg Boss has long been a ratings magnet, but this season the conversation among advertisers is not whether to show up, but whether the role they play is sharper than last time. Asian Paints is taking its association from three regional editions last year to five — Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Bangla — and is turning the houses themselves into a colour story with a shade guide built around the spaces seen on screen.
Hindware Bath & Tiles, Kellanova and Capital Foods are also back, and each is chasing a different reason to return.
- Asian Paints: five regional editions, plus Beautiful Homes, region-specific packs and premium lines such as Royale Glitz.
- Hindware: a ‘Designed for Sukoon’ positioning that uses the bathroom as a quiet reset space, with presence in Bigg Boss Telugu and Kannada.
- Kellanova: in-show placements for Kellogg’s Muesli 12-in-1 across seasons, tracking the conversation that moves from episode to social media.
- Capital Foods: Ching’s Schezwan Chutney placed inside the kitchen and dining areas, where food is part of the daily routine.
Buying the seat, not the slot
Capital Foods founder Ajay Gupta put the logic plainly: “Bigg Boss is a habit, and when habits get built, that’s when brands get built.” He said the show creates talk before a season, while contestants are inside, and after they leave, so an advertiser gets many memory-building moments instead of one burst of exposure. The brand’s approach, he added, is to “buy a seat in the house” — Ching’s lives where food is actually being cooked and eaten.
Asian Paints says the home sits at the centre of the Bigg Boss story, which makes colour, décor and home transformation a natural fit rather than a forced placement. Hindware is using the bathroom as a contrast to the noise elsewhere in the house, and Kellanova looks at how a moment inside the episode can travel through clips, memes and searches.
The numbers behind the repeat buy
Data from Unomer suggests campaigns around Bigg Boss delivered average uplifts of 1.33x in awareness, 1.26x in consideration and 1.25x in purchase intent, though results varied by brand and integration. The brands are moving the measurement conversation beyond “was it seen”.
Hindware CMO Arunima Yadav said the brand tracks recall, salience, consideration and engagement, and looks at traffic and enquiries only where they can be credibly linked. “Ultimately, the question is not simply whether the sponsorship was seen, but whether it created a meaningful shift in how consumers engage with or perceive the brand,” she said.
Kellanova begins with the objective set for each partnership and asks what incremental value the association adds to the wider media mix, including brand lift and search behaviour.
Why viewers should care
For fans, this is why the Bigg Boss house feels more curated every season: the kitchens, bathrooms, walls and dining spaces are being used as brand stages, not just backdrops. The result is more regional variety and more contextual placements, but also a sharper test of whether the brands actually fit the rooms they occupy.
