Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira Hits Back Over Maira Insult

The October 7 episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai turns a family secret into two separate storms: Abhira’s fight to find Maira and Maira’s growing belief that nobody at home loves her. By the time the episode ends, Abhira has crossed a line, Kabir is attacked, and the precap points to an emotional homecoming.

Madhav’s secret brings Abhira into the room

Kaveri and Vidya push Madhav to finally tell Abhira and Armaan the truth. Madhav hesitates, worried that revealing it now will add more pain. Before he can decide, Abhira walks in and asks what truth they are talking about, leaving Madhav cornered.

That withheld secret becomes the episode’s slow-burn thread. While Abhira is already desperate about Maira, she now has another mystery hovering over her.

Maira feels abandoned, and Kabir’s interview goes sideways

Maira helps Kabir get ready for his interview and reassures him that he looks sincere and dedicated. Kabir hugs her before leaving. But the opportunity does not work out as planned; Kabir ends up with an unpaid internship instead.

Maira misses her family and believes Abhira never came to meet her or say goodbye. She also thinks Armaan failed to help Kabir when he was injured, and she concludes that neither Abhira nor Armaan truly loves her. Meanwhile, Krish leaks details about Maira and Kabir to Abhira’s client Agarwal as payback, which shocks Agarwal and makes the situation more serious.

Abhira’s CCTV search turns physical

After first trying to ignore the Maira lead, Abhira changes her mind and tells Madhav she wants to bring Maira home. While checking CCTV footage, she asks for another camera angle, but the operator says it is not working and turns the blame on her. He tells Abhira that if she had not raised her voice at Maira, Maira would not have left, and then calls Maira characterless. Unable to take the insult, Abhira hits the operator with an object.

Here are the key turns from the episode:

• Kaveri and Vidya press Madhav to reveal a truth Abhira overhears.
• Maira helps Kabir prepare, but the interview leads only to an unpaid internship.
• Abhira hits a CCTV operator after he calls Maira characterless.
• Kabir is attacked by boys, and Uday and Purv step in to save him.

Precap: Maira comes home

The next-episode teaser shows Maira returning and touching Abhira and Armaan’s feet to apologise. Armaan immediately says daughters do not touch their parents’ feet. Maira turns emotional and guilty, while Abhira and Armaan are overjoyed to have her back.

For fans, that precap suggests the Maira track may pivot from anger to reconciliation, even if Madhav’s hidden truth is still waiting to explode.
