Aamna Sharif said in a recent interview that portraying the vamp Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 had an impact on her mental health.
Aamna Sharif is a well-known actress in the television business. Kashish in Kahiin to Hoga, Muskan in Hongey Judaa Na Hum, and Komolika in Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 are among her most well-known roles. Aamna spoke up about portraying the nasty part of Komolika in Ekta Kapoor’s famous daily soap in a recent interview, admitting that it began to impair her mental health at some point. The actress admitted that playing the negative role was difficult for her since it included passages that were emotionally draining.
Speaking to Hindustan Times, Aamna said, “It was so heavy to play her because the scenes Komolika performed were so negative. I remember in one specific scene I had to kill a newborn which played with my mental health.” Aamna was cast as the new Komolika after actress Hina Khan departed the programme, for the uninitiated. Urvashi Dholakia first performed the character in Kasautii Zindagii Kay.
Meanwhile, Sharif recently appeared in the online series ‘Aadha Ishq’ alongside Gaurav Arora. Many personal and daring encounters between the actors were featured in the performance. When asked if she was nervous about executing daring sequences, the actress said that her level of comfort is key. The romance sequences on the big screen played out brilliantly since she and Gaurav bonded so well on filming.
“I have never ever done these kinds of scenes on screen. I was very nervous and scared. My co-star needed to make me feel comfortable. I’m so happy that Gaurav played Saahir,” Aamna further stated.
