Actress Mouni Roy is to have a new beginning in a few days. The actress is all set to get married to her long-time boyfriend Suraj Nambiar. Mouni’s romance with businessman Suraj Nambiar has surfaced a lot of headlines. The actress met Suraj on New Year’s eve of the year 2019 as strangers. Thereafter, she has been spending a lot of time in Dubai where the groom and his family stay.
Meanwhile, the couple has locked 27th January as the date for their intimate wedding in Goa. The couple will have a two-day beach wedding in Candolim. They will be exchanging wedding vows as per Bengali traditions. The two families – Roys and Nambiars- debated quite a bit on Rajasthan and Goa. Ultimately for some reason, they felt that Goa would be a better option.
MOUNI-SURAJ CUT SHORT WEDDING GUEST LIST
Reportedly, Mouni and Suraj’s wedding will be a low-key affair. As per sources, initially, Mouni had an extensive guest list, which included 50 people. However, the actress is cutting down her guest list for the wedding. It is believed that the couple is extra cautious in planning their wedding due to COVID-19. The actress may not call too many industry friends for her wedding. She will also ask attendees for their RT-PCR reports
Subsequent to the wedding, once things get better, she will plan a reception in Mumbai. As of now, the actress hasn’t planned anything lavish in Goa. It is apparently going to be very intimate.
Mouni Roy hails from Cooch Behar in West Bengal and later moved to Mumbai after completing her studies in Delhi.
Mouni Roy On The Professional Front
On the work front, Mouni will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s fantasy movie Brahmastra, which will be made into three parts. The first part of the movie is scheduled for release on September 9, 2022. She will feature alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Dimple Kapadia. Brahmastra will mark Ranbir and Alia’s first professional outing.
