Mouni Roy has been in the news lately for her wedding with beau Suraj Nambiar. The couple has been dating each other for a while and took the plunge in a grand ceremony in Goa. While the wedding festivities had begun on January 26, Mouni and Suraj have tied the knot as per South Indian rituals. The ceremony was held in the presence of their respective family members and close friends.
Meanwhile, several pics and videos from Mouni and Suraj’s south Indian wedding have been posted on social media. It was a traditional South Indian wedding with the bride and groom opting for a traditional look. In the pictures, Mouni Roy is seen dressed in a white and red colored saree. Mouni is looking like a typical South Indian bride with gold bangles, a choker necklace, maangtika along with a headband and kamarbandh. She is also wearing real flowers in her hair. Definitely, the actress looks gorgeous in her bridal attire. Suraj, on the other hand, is wearing a brown-colored kurta and traditional dhoti.

Amid this, a picture from Mouni and Suraj’s mangalsutra ceremony has also been posted on social media. Suraj is seen tying the traditional south Indian mangalsutra to his bride. The couple appears to be beaming with joy during the ceremony. In another video, Mouni is seen walking towards the mandap and with her girl gang. Mouni appears to be over the moon about starting this new journey of her life.
Furthermore, Arjun Bijlani had also shared a click of the newlyweds wherein Suraj couldn’t take his eyes off his new bride. He had captioned the image as, “Mr. and Mrs. Nambiar”.
Additionally, Mouni Roy will also be having a Bengali wedding tonight. The couple is hosting a sangeet night tomorrow in Goa. Earlier, there were reports that the couple will be hosting a grand wedding reception for their friends in Mumbai. However, the wedding reception has been canceled owing to the rise in COVID 19 cases across the country.
