Palak Tiwari and Ibrahim Ali Khan were caught together outside a restaurant in Bandra, Mumbai, in January of this year. Their presence together soon after sparked rumours that they were the newest pair in B-Town. While Ibrahim smiled at the photographers, Palak tried to hide her face from the cameras as they left in the same automobile. Now, the Bijlee Bijlee star has revealed why she was hiding her face after being caught with Ibrahim.
Palak stated she was disguising her face because of her mother, Shweta Tiwari, in a recent interview with RJ and broadcaster Siddharth Kannan. Palak claims that her mother follows her around in paparazzi images.
“That night I had told her one hour back that I have left for home. I was in Bandra. I was like ‘mummy there’s so much traffic. I am on my way home’ and she was like ‘fine.’ Then these pictures come out. And the second the paps came I was like ‘my mom will see me,’ and the second she sent me that picture and said ‘you liar.’ I am like I’m sorry.’ I had hidden my face from Shweta Tiwari, not anyone else,” Palak said.
In addition, when asked about the relationship rumours, Palak stated that she and Ibrahim are “good friends.” She went on to say that they weren’t alone which they were among a bunch of individuals. Ibrahim was also regarded as a “really kind man” by Palak. Meanwhile, she’ll be making her acting debut in Rosie: The Saffron Chapter, a horror thriller.
