Rashami Desai is a popular name in the Indian TV industry. Desai had made a mark in Bigg Boss 13. She is also known for her stellar performance in Dilse Diltak and Naagin 4. Now she is gearing up for her digital debut with Tandoor. Tandoor is a nail-biting investigative thriller, starring Rashami Desai and Tanuj Virwani in the lead roles.
Rashami is essaying the role of Palak in Tandoor. Palak hails from a small town aspiring politician who tied knot to the love of her life surreptitiously and wants to soon disclose the nuptial to public and media. Nevertheless, she doesn’t get the same kind of reciprocation in love and affection from her husband and she slowly moves away emotionally towards another man.
Rashami shares, “My look is of a simple yet ambitious girl in her twenties. She is a confident modern woman who doesn’t want to give up on her life and dreams for her unworthy secret husband. The story and character are loosely inspired from a real life incident. The story is about Palak and I have got the opportunity to live her life.. to live her pain, sorrows and dejections and how she reaches her untimely end. I want the audiences to watch Palak, feel her misery and see her short lived journey and not just watch actor Rashami play another role. Palak is deeper than her mere appearance.”

Later, Rashami shares the screen shot of the ongoing trend on her Instagram stories and several celebrities congratulated her on her Digital debut.
Tandoor is helmed Nivedita Basu. Nivedita Basu has worked very closely with Ekta Kapoor. Tandoor is produced by Vibhu Agarwal, Chitra Vakil Sharma and Chandni Soni. It will be streaming on ULLU app.
