Rahul Vaidya and Disha Parmar announced their wedding after Rahul Vaidya came out of the house of Bigg Boss 14. Thereafter, the couple is seen together many times. Lately, Rahul and Disha have appeared in a music video together. Rahul’s family treats Disha as a family member.
Today, Rahul and Disha have celebrated Gudi Padwa together with Rahul’s family. Gudi Padwa is celebrated by Maharashtrians and Konkanis. This day marks the beginning of Marathi’s new year. The traditional celebration of the festival is quite simple. The family members wear traditional clothes and hang a decorated flag. Rangoli and traditional sweets are made on this day.
Rahul Vaidya informed that usually, his family celebrates Gudi Padwa in the traditional manner. Every year Rahul joins his family in hoisting Gudi after Puja. Gorging on the Puran Polis made by his mother happened to be the best part of the festival. This year, the festival is very special to Rahul as he is celebrating it with Disha.
Disha had been gifted Maharashtrian Saree and Nath by her future mother-in-law. Disha joined Rahul Vaidya’s family in traditional attire and performed the rituals. Disha confessed, “Although I was a part of the celebrations on the set of my last show, Woh Apna Sa, this is my first proper participation.” She added, “Though I am an amateur cook, I hope to learn something from Rahul’s mom,” she added. “I wish for a happy and healthy life for us and our families. I hope that COVID-19 leaves us soon.”
